Hello!
On our second day in Copenhagen we were fortunate enough to land a booking in the Michelin star rated restaurant Grønbech & Churchill.
I had Menu Grønbech and my mum had Menu Churchill, we swapped around some of the dishes.
For Starters I had Spring cabbage with lovage and cheese. Cauliflower and oisters.
My Mum had marinated cucumber and mackerel fillet.
The cucumber was amazing and was garnished so well.
Next
we were treated with some delicious soups, I had a cheese soup with
lobster and mum had a pea soup with smoked lard. My soup was amazing I
would gladly have it again!
Main course was my least favourite dish, because of the fact that mine was fish and I do not eat fish, so I just aate the beautiful fresh, cooked and dried tomatoes.
Dessert was delightful I had a panacotta with lemon sorbet and a Cinnamon apricot. I particularly enjoyed the panacotta but the apricot was not to my liking, I mean I'm sure it was good but I don't particularly enjoy citrus and Cinnamon infused fruit too much.
Mum had Berries on a rice packet with rubarb and a straberries and vanilla sorbet.
The sorbet was scrumptious and I really liked the berries.
All in all I think that it was a lovely night with lovely food, service and atmosphere.
xxx,
Grace
